  • Scissors
  • Tapestry needle

Abbreviations

  • st(s) – stitch(es)
  • mr – magic ring
  • sl st – slip stitch
  • sc – single crochet
  • hdc – half double crochet
  • dc – double crochet
  • ch – chain
  • (nr) – indicates the total number of stitches in the current row/round

Pattern Instructions

Round 1 (Head) : 12 dc in mr

Round 2 (Ears):
1st Ear: 1 sl st each in the next 5 st, Ch 6, 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 hdc in the next st, 1 dc each in the next 2 st, 1 hdc in the next st, make a sl st on top of the next dc
2nd Ear: Ch 6, 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 hdc in the next st, 1 dc each in the next 2 st, 1 hdc in the next st, make a sl st on top of the next dc, 1 sl st each in the next 2 st

We will continue with the body. The body is worked in rows.

Body:

We will continue from the stitch where we finished with the ears.

Change the color to blue.

Row 1: Chain 3, dc in the same st, 2 dc each in the next 2 st, turn

Row 2: Ch 3, dc in the same st, 2 dc in the next st, 1 dc in each of the remaining 4 st, turn

Row 3: Ch 3, dc in the same st, 1 dc each in the next 5 st, turn

Change the color to white.

Row 4: Ch 3, dc in the same st, 2 dc in the next st, 1 dc each in the next 4 st, 1dc and 1 hdc in the last st

Finish off.
