- st(s) – stitch(es)
- mr – magic ring
- sl st – slip stitch
- sc – single crochet
- hdc – half double crochet
- dc – double crochet
- tr – treble crochet
- ch – chain

Pattern Instructions
Round 1 (Body) : In mr ch 3, 7 tr, ch 3 picot (i.e. ch 3 and make a sl st into the bottom 1st ch) , 9tr
Round 2 (Face): ch 2, 2 tr in the same st, 2 tr in the next st
Round 3 (Ears):
1st Ear: Ch 7, 1 hdc in the 3rd ch from the hook, 1 dc each in the next 2 st, 1 hdc in the next st, 1 sc in the last st, make sl st on top of the tr you started from
