  • Schachenmayr Catania (100% Cotton, 125m (137yds)/50g (1.76oz), Sport Weight) Yarn in the following colors
    • Green
    • Brown
  • Crochet hook: 2.00 mm
  • Filling
  • Scissors
  • Tapestry needle
  • Beads

Abbreviations

  • st(s) – stitch(es)
  • mr – magic ring
  • sc – single crochet
  • inc – increase (2 sc in next st)
  • dec – decrease (2 sc worked off together)
  • (nr) – indicates the total number of stitches in the current row/round

Size of the finished item

The finished Christmas tree is about 5 cm (2 inches) tall, if you use similar weight yarn. In case you use thicker yarn, your Christmas tree will be bigger, if you use thiner yarn, your Christmas tree will be smaller.

Round 12:  sc*21 (21)

Start stuffing the Christmas tree and keep on stuffing while crocheting.

Round 15:  (2 sc, dec)*6 (18) 
Round 16: (sc, dec)*6 (12)

Change color to brown.

Round 17:  dec*6 (6)
Round 18:  sc*6 (6)

Finish off.
